About me

Hey! I’m Ari Potts, a nineteen-year-old oil painter from Shepherdstown, West Virginia. My artistic education began with homeschool lessons at The Badgerhound with Emily Vaughn, and later, some private lessons.

I am fascinated with the human form, inside and out. My art reflects that, as well as my interest in the “disgusting”.

When I’m not painting; I sketch, sculpt, keep a trash scrapbook/sketchbook, as well as go on hikes, swim in the river, and occasionally play the guitar.
